It was interesting finish reading a book like this in a period of massive diffusion AI, with large scale models able to do things only imaginable in the year this book came out. As interesting as what we are invited to reflect on: AI applied in war. The book summarize this topic in a very structured way: brief examples of autonomous weapons (drones); the history of the weapons themselves and how they become more and more autonomous and powerful; most their potential, both in war and cyber-war attacks, along with strategies and ideas on how to handle and eventually limit such a potentially dangerous technology. Everything also enriched with interviews with experts in this field, which made the reading even more interesting for a really actual topic everyone should be aware of.
